Claymore Dual Miner (2025) Review and Setup

Claymore Dual Miner is a popular miner that allows you to simultaneously mine two cryptocurrencies on a single graphics card. It supports the Ethash algorithm for Ethereum and its forks, as well as Equihash for coins such as Decred, LBRY, and others. Step 1: Download and Prepare

In the same folder, create a new text file and rename it start.bat.
Open the file in a text editor and paste the following line:

Replace < pool address>, <port>, <your wallet address > and < farm name> with the appropriate values:

• -mport 0 — disable remote monitoring.
• -etha 0 — operating mode for AMD video cards (0 — optimized for fast cards).
• -retrydelay 3 — delay between reconnection attempts (in seconds).
• -tstop 92 — temperature at which mining will stop (in degrees Celsius).

Step 3: Launch the miner

Double-click the start.bat file to launch the miner.
The miner will begin initializing the GPUs, creating DAG files, and connecting to the pool.
After a few seconds, you’ll see hashrate and GPU temperature statistics.

Additional options and settings

Dual mining: To mine two coins simultaneously, use the -mode 0 parameter. For example, to mine Ethereum and Decred:

• -dcoin 2 — select the second coin (2 — Decred).
• -dpool, -dwal, -dpsw — parameters for the second pool, wallet and password, respectively.
• Temperature Management: Use the -tt parameter to set the target GPU temperature. For example, -tt 73 will set the target temperature to 73°C.
• Miner reboot: To automatically reboot the miner when it crashes, use the -r 1 parameter, which will cause the reboot.bat file to be executed.
