Feather Wallet is a free, open-source, lightweight Monero wallet designed for desktop computers. It is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and privacy-focused operating systems such as Tails, Whonix, and Prestium. Feather Wallet combines ease of use with powerful features, suitable for both beginners and experienced users.
What is a light wallet?
A lightweight wallet allows users to interact with the blockchain without having to download it entirely. Instead, the wallet connects to a remote node, saving space on the device and speeding up synchronization. Feather Wallet uses this approach, providing quick access to funds while maintaining privacy and security.
Automatic connection: Feather will automatically select a suitable remote node.
Manual connection: Specify the node address and port manually.
Create a new wallet:
Generate a 16-word seed phrase—this is your wallet backup.
Set a password to encrypt your wallet.
Specify the name and location of the wallet file.
Important: Keep your seed phrase and password safe. Losing this information may result in loss of access to your funds.
